As Google's point man for ads and the most powerful sales guy in the world, Tim has spent much of the past year pushing --- or more appropriately, defending --- a potential Yahoo-Google search deal that has critics up in arms. If the Feds (and the EU) eventually bless the marriage, Tim's job only becomes more colossal.

What else is on his agenda? Making progress on monetizing YouTube ads, expanding Google's core search ad business on Google Maps and Google Local, and, persuading advertisers to load their entire ad budgets onto Google.
