This was total fluff. The 30 seconds they talked about Beacon was hardly tough interviewing and even his response made him come across as the nerd Stahl kept saying he was in that oh-so-motherly tone.

I've been on record for months as saying that mark Zuckerburg should find a role he loves and find someone who can be CEO of Facebook. He's simply not qualified to run this company. At some point the board has to make the call but I'm sure they'll want Mark to be "ok" with it, too. It will be a friendly transition.

How do you go on 60 minutes dressed liked a schlub? This guy is the face of a multi-billion dollar media company but he comes off looking like a little kid playing house. He may be an innovator but he is still very green and it shows. They need to get a few suits in there to take this company to the next level.

FB's PR folks (although it is hard to believe they actually have any of these based on their handling of the Beacon issue) should have let 60 Minutes call for an interview go to voicemail, or at least requested Mike Wallace to do the interview. Based on his kid-glove handling of Roger Clemens, he might have been a more sympathetic ear.

Zuckerberg does not look very CEO-like that's for sure. To paraphrase

"...I mean, like, Beacon is good because it will, like, help us make money to like pay like, all of our employees.."

Ouch. Time to find another spokesperson for FB.

What's sad is that you almost never see this kind of hard nosed, authority-challenging journalism in coverage of U.S. politics.

I'd much rather see someone like Sawyer take on fake heroes and environmental destroyers like Jack Welch, rather than real innovators like Zuckerberg.

Oh, I forgot, Sawyer probably has Welch and the like over for dinner every couple of weeks.
